We are networking with other Open Source Oriented companies, communities and individuals and can build "virtual" project teams with full liability as service provider.
Based mainly on the following methods and tools, Inherit provides among other the following services with focus on open systems and open source code:
Business processes (work flows) are omnipresent in any organization, although not always explicitly manifested. Improvement of the work flows of an organization can increase efficiency of its operation as well as the quality of its products and services. We use the open industry (OMG) standard BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Modelling and Notation) for process development and support.
Modelling. Process modelling following the BPMN 2.0 standard. Vi offer services for analysis and graphical modelling of work flows, and creation of annotated process diagrams. If the resulting artefact is formalized according to the standard, then the resulting process description can be deployed to a BPMN2 compliant system, in which case run time support for the process is provided. This is the power offering of BPM solutions.
Implementation. Development of system supported (i.e. executable) business processes according to the BPMN2-standard by means of integration with the open source based process engine Activiti BPM. An executable process can be integrated with other IT systems within the organization, whereupon it can function as a hub, orchestrating and coordinating an ensemble of systems. We also assist in the identification of manual but potentially automatable process steps, and offer programming support for the implementation.
